- Louisiana WASHINGTON, Jan. 24, 2018 The U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is issuing a public health alert because Pigeon Caterers, Inc., doing business as Carnival Brands, a New Orleans, La. establishment, produced and distributed approximately 140 pounds of a chicken and pork product without the benefit of federal inspection. A possibility of adverse health consequences exists when products are produced without the benefit of full inspection. A recall was not requested because it is believed that the product is no longer in commerce and are past their Enjoy by dates. This product does not bear the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to a hotel, Moxy Hotel, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
